Reading Comprehension Class for 7th and 8th Graders
Summer 2010 Dalby is offering a unique and flexible program to help rising 7th and 8th grade students practice for the SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, and TJ reading comprehension.
Each class will discuss strategies for tackling the reading comprehension sections, giving students the opportunity to practice reading and prepare for these type questions on the actual test. We will review a minimum of one reading passage per class (the number reviewed will depend on the length of the passage(s) and the skill of the class) and at least five standardized test type vocabulary words. Those words may be in the context of the passage or may be supplemental.
This flexible program is an awesome opportunity for students to get the extra practice they need on a regular basis and still enjoy their summer vacation. Call 703-356-2728 for further questions.
