Dalby's Academic Tutoring

Dalby Tutoring offers academic assistance in middle school, high school, and college level courses. Topics include all math subjects through calculus and statistics, grammar, history, high school and college level biology, chemistry, and physics.

What Should I Bring? Each of our instructors presents a given subject differently, and we need to coordinate our individual efforts with the goals of the student's class. Basic items to bring include:

Textbook

Homework

Worksheets

Syllabus or assignments list

Anything else that he or she is working on in class.

When Are Sessions? Sessions are after school, Monday through Friday, Saturday 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday 3 pm to 8 pm, according to student and tutor availability.

How Much Does This Cost? Sessions are $70-$90 per hour for academic instruction; prices for more advanced courses are higher.

How Do I Sign Up? Register on-line by filling out the form below, or call our office at 703-356-2728 to schedule an academic tutoring session. Please tell us if you'd like to request a specific tutor (rates are $90/hour for Mr. or Mrs. Dalby and Mr. Nelson); we'll try to accommodate you.
